this project started out with warmoth parts - a light weight alder strat body finished in vintage white with a tortoise guard, and a one piece flame maple neck finished in vintage amber, Wilkinson trem, and Sperzel tuners
the pickups are Seymour Duncan - APS-2 Alnico II Pro™ Flats neck & mid/ SSL-3 Hot bridge
wiring is stock, with a jumper for the bridge to the mid tone pot
here I used a gold anodized aluminum pickguard for a template to locate the screw holes
here the screw holes have been drilled...
Here's the pickguard assembly I had already wired. I had a Twangbanger bridge .... later I switched to a Hot.
