Someone asked me about the Seymour Duncan Antiquity Custom bridge pickup. I have another page dedicated to this same strat, but did a poor job of documenting which pickups were used for each clip.
On this page, I used the Custom bridge pickup, on the bridge only setting.

here's my Warmoth strat with a set of Seymour Duncan Antiquities

OK, another picture
this is a great set - kind of an "ultimate vintage tone" set of strat pickups, including a lot of attention to cosmetic "archaeological" detail ... in other words, Seymour used a lot of his experience to give these the proper aged look
the pickups have a warm, vintage tone, but part of what makes the set distinctive is the fact that Seymour addressed a couple of the weaknesses of vintage strat pickups - one being that they often sound bright, and the bridge pickup often sounds weak as well
most modern players actually prefer a somewhat hotter wound pickup that overdrives more easily, and a bridge pickup that's not so piercingly bright. The neck and mid pickups in this set are wound to about 6.4k, and the bridge is wound to about 9.7k.
my feeling is that this set is vintage tone, but better ... it has all the pluck, ping, quack, and latex of typical vintage strat tone - all those terms that players use to describe the distinctive bite of good old strat pickups, and the "in between" tones that set strats apart from other guitars ... the notch position tones of Mark Knofler's Dire Straits tone, and Eric Clapton's "Layla" tone, among others. The neck and mid tones are warm and responsive, and the bridge has plenty of juicy bite to satisfy for lead, or crunchy chords.

here are the "Stratdeluxer" modded Boss SD-1, and Maxon 830 Distortion used for these clips
I have quite a few clips on my site. Often, I record these "dry" - that is without effects, when I want to highlight the natural tone of the pickup. The fact is, though many players often use effects when playing, so I included clips here with distortion used for chords and overdrive on the lead clips, as well as clean playing.
Peace
